Our dedication is exemplified through our long-term, fruitful cooperation with My Forest Armenia which aims to combat climate change and biodiversity loss through large-scale reforestation projects. Our journey with My Forest Armenia started in 2021: together, we are sowing the seeds of change, one tree at a time, nurturing a legacy of environmental integrity and social responsibility that will thrive for generations.

In a broader effort to mitigate our CO2 emissions, Barsamian Diamonds started to plant forests and proudly became a steadfast supporter of My Forest Armenia. Our collaboration has flourished, leading to the planting of over 60,000 trees in three years, on two plots within the Jrashen afforestation area in Lori Province, Armenia. This remarkable initiative spans a total of 20 hectares - yet to grow - set to transform the landscape and contribute to the health of our planet.
Nicolas Barsamian visited the area in 2024 - it has been truly impressive and inspiring to see the young oak, maple, beech, pine and many other tree species grow in the arid landscape and to imagine the lush forest that they will become.
My Forest Armenia not only focuses on environmental sustainability but also has a strong social mission. By situating reforestation projects in remote mountainous regions and employing local populations, My Forest Armenia supports community development and economic growth. With this partnership, Barsamian Diamonds is proud to contribute to several United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s) at once (see https://sdgs.un.org/goals).
